Those not following dance music too heavily may be unfamiliar with the name 2 Many DJs. The group, consisting of two brothers from Belgium, were pioneers of unorthodox ‘mashups’ before the style even had a proper name (and far before such musical blends became common).
Always ahead of the mainstream, it appears that the duo have come up with a new innovation and are now taking their show on the road.
2 Many Djs promise a live performance that integrates audio and video in an exciting new way. As masters of blending different genres of music, the pair has taken their creativity in a slightly different direction. It appears that they have created custom videos for the songs in their sets.
Like their smart manipulation of music, the videos have been built to compliment the songs and cause a dance floor frenzy.

The show takes place at the Bellini Lounge in the Venetian Macau on Saturday, January 30th. The event is co-presented by the popular social network Alive Not Dead, so you can expect a good crowd. In addition to 2 Many DJs, the party includes five other d.j.s! Doors open at 10 pm and the event goes until 6 am!
Tickets are $340 HKD advance, and $450 at the door. There’s also a round-trip Cotai ferry ticket package for $428 HKD.
With the change of venue to Cafe Deco, more tickets are now available!

I would imagine that there will be enough space. Many people tend to purchase tickets at the door, rather than buy them in advance.
2manydjs is such a talent. Their mash-ups are incredibly innovative. I also enjoy the tinge of humor that the brothers include in their mixes. I wish there were more legitimate mixes that I could buy, but I guess the legality of clearing the samples is too expensive and arduous.
Not a big fan of their original material. I wonder if they’ll play a mix of both or solely stick with the mash-ups. I’d enjoy a review of the show!

Yeah the Dewaele brothers are a great talent. As heard on Radio Soulwax pt.2 is one of my all time favourite mixtapes. Loving their production and remixes under Soulwax imprint too. However they don’t play mashups anymore like they used to a few years ago.
Especially this tour with visuals, consists mainly of electro bangers. This is what they play nowadays. The whole show is carefully planned before every gig. Also they only have artwork (visuals) for a 2 or 3 hour show, so every show looks pretty much the same.
Will be a great night though!

O.K. as of Wednesday afternoon, the promoter has changed to a larger venue (Café Deco) and now more tickets are available. Here’s the information we received:
“Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, the 2manydjs Asian Tour for Saturday the 30th January 2010 has been moved from the Bellini Lounge to Café Deco at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel. You still present your original confirmation forms at the box office located at the entrance to Café Deco from 8.30pm on the 30th January. The event will run from 10pm Saturday 30th January until 5am Sunday morning. Additional tickets are now available for sale so tell your friends to get in quick before they sell out!
