After three years, XXX Gallery, now located in Sai Wan, is still going strong, continuing to bring interesting DJs and live music to Hong Kong. A pioneer in moving the nightlife scene beyond Central, the club has provided a home for up-and-coming talent from around the world.
XXX is owned and operated by DJ Enso, a San Francisco transplant who got his start in the city throwing the Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy parties. His open-minded approach to new music genres has enabled Hong Kong to experience some of the best avant-garde producers and DJs internationally. Every month at XXX, you can catch anything from 50’s Pop to the latest underground dance music.

Saturday’s 3rd anniversary continues in this tradition by headlining Falcons, a genre-defying producer and remixer from Los Angeles. Among other accomplishments, Falcons has played a Boiler Room set, been featured at Low End Theory (the notable Los Angles party,) and created a mix for Red Bull Music Academy.
His remixes have attracted fans within the music scene including heavy hitters such as Diplo, and RL Grime. Have a listen to Falcons remixes on Soundcloud, or check out his Boiler Room session in the video below.
For Saturday’s celebration, a large line-up of XXX regulars (and a few irregulars) are also on the bill. They include: Enso, Yao, K-Smooth, Rolec, Ekorb, Subcoat, Yeodie and Bones.
With such a diverse collection of DJs, even diehard underground music fans can expect to learn something new.
