Pedestrians walking around Hong Kong’s Central neighborhood can’t help but notice the strategically placed (and colorful,) Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy banners. I’ve counted at least three free-standing signs in high foot-traffic areas. Though in the past some clubs have went so far as to take out T.V. advertisements, this is an uncommon practice in Hong Kong.

Last month’s edition of Cliq’s Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy was a big success. The club was packed with people and the vibe was good. Friday night’s party features sets by the mainstays: Kid Fresh, DJ Enso and Miss Yellow, in addition to visiting guests, the CB Radio DJ Posse.

The monthly event features multiple genres with an emphasis on contemporary dance music including Electro, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Ghettohouse, Baltimore, and Baile Funk.
