We’re still catching up with all the events that took place over the past two weeks. Hong Kong is on fire with interesting happenings these days! CLOT, the local high-end street wear brand helmed by Hong Kong celebrity Edison Chen, launched their latest collaboration with Converse at the beginning of the month.
CLOT is remarkable for the number of collaboration projects they’ve been able to achieve. Their latest with Converse is a reinterpretation of the Pro Leather, a shoe originally made famous by the basketball legend of the 1970’s, Dr. J..
Dr. J made several of the most memorable plays in basketball history, which you can read more about here. The collection includes several shoes, as well as a shirt. Both items have a heritage feel, and a retro, classic look.
Edison was in attendance, alongside co-founder Kevin Poon, movie star Sam Lee, and Chef, a local M.C..
To coincide with the launch, there was a mini-exhibition of Hong Kong / Converse themed art by local artists Graphic Airlines, Sinic Choy, Anton Lopez, Benny Luk, and White Space set up at the JUICE store in Causeway Bay.
