The first solo show by photographer Aisha Moon Johnson opens at Voxfire Gallery on Friday, September 26th. You may have spotted Aisha at some of Hong Kong’s underground events armed with a huge camera.
Her work often revolves around subcultures and she frequents B-boy shows and other niche happenings in H.K.. “Just Enuf” is slightly different. The photography exhibition’s subject deals with feelings of isolation and how individuals cope with their burdens.
Originally from Brooklyn, she picked up photography while living in Atlanta, and has pursued it academically, recently completing her Master of Arts in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
The opening reception for “Just Enuf” takes place at Voxfire Gallery from 7pm to 10pm on Friday, September 26th.
