A group of friends have been meeting every weekend to explore a hidden part of Hong Kong’s past. The culmination of their trips is a photography and mixed media exhibition titled “Abandoned,” that explores the parallel universe created by Hong Kong’s lost landscapes.
A stark contrast to the manicured, controlled environments created by the city’s property barons, the exhibition examines the beauty and freedom in the wild, derelict forms.
The upcoming show opens on July 25th at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre in Shek Kip Mei, and runs until August 3rd.
