Hong Kong Hustle started covering PechaKucha night since its very first appearance in the city back in 2008!
Aside from having a cool name, PechaKucha night is an amazing way to learn about a wide range of interesting projects and industries that you would normally never be exposed to. The subjects covered include art, design, fashion, architecture and more. The strict time limits keep people from rambling on and boring the audience, and you often end up with action-packed presentations.
It’s inspiring to hear about the unique challenges and problem-solving techniques employed for each project, whether it’s designing a large scale outdoor sculpture, or making sure the letters are spaced properly on an ever-expanding MTR map!
