The scene on Cleveland Street, Causeway Bay
Sneakers, snacks, and sounds shook Causeway Bay last month as CLOT teamed up with VANS for the launch of the new Tribesmen Holiday collection. The two brands celebrated their collaboration with an event at JUICE that had all the trappings of a block party!
Guests arrived at the store and received bracelets with a design that matched the embroidered tribal pattern of the collection. Two girls sat at a table all night weaving them together.
The big standout of the sneaker series is a shoe featuring an embroidered tribal pattern which is also the theme of this season’s CLOT line.
Highlights of the event featured a mini-concert by Edison Chen, along with M.C. Yan (from L.M.F.,) and Chef. The trio recently released a CD of Hong Kong Hip Hop together and they performed several songs.
Outside, set up next to the shop, was an authentic Hong Kong style snack stand featuring an array of tasty treats that one would typically find in high foot-traffic areas such as Mongkok.
The selections featured classics such as siu mai and fish balls, as well as those special VANS waffles that people go crazy for.
Guests checked out the CLOT X VANS Holiday collection inside the store and then spilled out onto the street, snacking, chatting, and enjoying the atmosphere.
