On Friday, October 7th, local promoter True Skool is holding their second rooftop Reggae event. This time titled “Jah Son and Daughter’s Party,” their last event had a house-party feel and music from the golden eras of Dancehall and Hip Hop.
As you’d expect with Reggae music, the vibe is more relaxed, people are friendly, and it’s possible to meet strangers. The outdoor rooftop has places to sit and chill, plus there’s a sleek indoor bar area in case you need a dose of air-conditioning during the night.
The only weak point of the first event, a wimpy sound system, has been addressed. This time around, the party will be using a new upgraded sound system, to ensure that the music is right.
Expect a fun party, great music, a cool crowd, a friendly atmosphere and an amazing view of Central’s nightscape.
