If you thought that Hong Kong’s rooftop bars were tall, Ozone is like partying from a helicopter! On Friday, July 6th, Ozone, the nightclub located on the 118th floor of Hong Kong’s tallest building will be hosting Egyptian DJs Aly & Fila.
Although open for over a year, Ozone has only occasionally been tapped as a venue for international DJs.
Traditionally, nightspots in Kowloon have had a difficult time drawing Hong Kong’s top party crowd. The rule has often been to keep venues close to Lan Kwai Fong in Central.
However, things have been changing rapidly in the city over the last few years, and the rules that once defined the nightlife scene are crumbling away.
It will be interesting to see how Ozone accommodates a large crowd and works as a party space for big name DJs.
With a wrap-around outdoor terrace, the views on Friday night should be spectacular and worth going early for.
